Dr. Norcom graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in 1994. A passion for skin care began in medical school when he realized the enormous social and psychological impact of skin disorders. He personally suffered from severe acne as an adolescent and the side effects of the acne treatment medication Accutane.

A drive to become an excellent practitioner in the care of skin has led to hours of extended reading and conference attendance, including elective private and academic training in dermatology and dermatopathology. He continues to ardently follow skin care literature, especially aesthetic medicine and acne treatment. Dr. Norcom is also very interested in the connections between nutrition, antioxidant supplementation, skin health, aging, and cancer prevention. He is currently Board certified through 2014.

His personal philosophy of medicine can be best summed by a quote on the wall at Harvard Medical School which reads, "The best way to care for the patient is to care about the patient."

Alina Norcom

A native Oregonian, Alina has a wide range of experience in both medical and business environments. Her philosophy of customer service and business interaction is that there are never problems, only challenges, that we always have options, and that mutual respect and honest communication are the bedrock of success. To Alina, business quality is found in interacting with and helping other people grow, while learning from others to inspire her own professional growth.

With a varied background in marketing, management, and administration, she brings a broad set of skills to her role as Spa Director at West Linn Medspa. Her aim is to make you feel at home when you are with us, so if there is ever anything she can do for you, don?t hesitate to let her know. To Alina, everyone is first a person, and then a client.

Wendy Pothast
Licensed Aesthetician

After graduating from the Aesthetic Institute in Portland, Wendy attended University of Oregon and PSU, focusing on communication and public relations. "After being diagnosed with basal cell skin cancer I began to realize that taking care of my skin was a serious matter. I loved the sun and like many of us, spent hours “laying out”. I lived a short time in the Hawaiian Islands, so I got a lot of sun exposure. It was then that I became interested in skin care and decided to make a career out of it." Wendy enjoys learning and finds the aesthetic industry fascinating. She is current on the latest trends and technologies. She believes understanding the science behind the products, attention to detail and individualized customer service is the best formula for quality care.

Sue Mullinger
Licensed Aesthetician

Sue obtained an International diploma in Esthetics and body treatments after completing a 2 year full-time course in 1984. Over the years she has kept up with the latest technology and approaches to skin care through reading, training and learning directly from her clients. She believes in a balanced approach to all aspects of life including skin care. In her practice she first examines the face and advises clients on how to best take care of their skin. Acupressure points and massage are then used on the face to create a powerful restorative effect on the skin, mind and body thus revealing healthier skin.

Sally-Ann Hobart
Licensed Aesthetician

Wanting the most from her esthetic education, Sally-Ann attended Frederique's European Institute of Esthetics in Hong Kong where she obtained an international diploma. With continuing education, constant reading of industry movement, and 3 years in medical esthetics, Sally-Ann is dedicated to educating her clients on the importance of nutrition and preventive healthcare to achieve a healthy balance for the skin. This combined with a nurturing technique gives her clients a relaxing sensory journey.

Tianna Martinez
Licensed Massage Therapist

Tianna graduated from a Nationally Accredited Massage Therapy program at East West College located in Portland, Oregon. She focuses her style mostly using Deep Tissue, Trigger Point and Myofacial Release mixed in with a little Swedish and stretching. Her massage is a flowing and intuitive mixture of different techniques; whatever is needed to get a "worked out" finale. She pays special attention to detail when listening to her clients' requests as to what they would like to achieve during their sessions together. Whether you would like a Deep Tissue massage or a relaxing Hot Stone treatment, you will leave completely relaxed and rejuvenated.
