Mesoderm™/Mesoglow
Mesoderm™/Mesoglow is an exciting, effective therapy in which medications, homeopathic products and vitamins are delivered via electroporation into the middle layer of skin (the mesoderm). These techniques get nutrients into your skin in a way that’s not possible with creams or supplements – they replenish your skin with nutrients that stimulate collagen formation, resulting in a firmer, healthier complexion.
Mesoderm™/Mesoglow treatments for the face (also called Mesolift) firm your face and neck and give you a smooth, rejuvenated appearance. Mesoderm™/Mesoglow treatments are often provided on alternate weeks to enhance the final result.

How does Mesoderm/Mesoglow work?
Mesoderm™/Mesoglow treats fine lines, improves skin texture and tone and hydrates the skin. You will need a number of Mesoderm™ sessions to see visible results, and will then need maintinance sessions every two months.
A Mesoderm™ treatment is simple, safe and relaxing. It starts with electroporation, which is done with a special pen that makes the skin temporarily more permeable. An electrical current stimulates the dermis to open up tiny channels to the deeper layers of the skin. Then, before the channels close up, therapeutic ingredients are rolled into the treatment area. It’s a technique that allows the Mesoderm™ to deliver large volumes of product deep into the skin for facial rejuvenation, skin tightening of the face and neck, and reduce hyperpigmentation.
A light facial and neck massage finish off the procedure, and we apply sunblock at the end of each session.

How many sessions will I need?
A series of treatments is required to achieve a smoother, more youthful look. Depending on the degree of photodamage, we usually recommend 5-8 sessions, every 1 to 2 weeks, followed by maintenance sessions every 1 to 2 months, which prolong the benefits.
Am I a candidate for the treatment?
Mesoderm™ treatments can be performed on all skin types and can even be performed during the summer months, unlike photofacials and glycolic peels. Of course, we recommend that you wear sunscreen every day to keep your skin protected.
We do not recommend this treatment for patients who are pregnant, nursing, have a medical device such as a pacemaker, are allergic to any of the treatment products, or who have an active wound or cold sore. If you have a history of cold sores (Herpes Simplex Virus) involving the area to be treated, you may need antiviral therapy, which can easily be prescribed by Dr. Norcom.

How will I look after a treatment?
Your skin will immediately look more hydrated. There is no down time and you can get back to normal activities immediately after your session. Depending on the area that has been treated, you will see marked facial and neck rejuvenation, improved texture and tone, improved skin hydration and reduction of fine lines.
Can I combine it with other treatments?
Yes. Mesoderm™ treatments can be used in conjunction with other cosmetic procedures such a Botox, dermal fillers, microdermabrasion, photofacials, and medical grade skin care products.
